They Act Like You Don’t Know…
“If pro is the opposite of con, then Congress must be the opposite of Progress…” - Anonymous
Did you notice that whenever America has a problem with something, there is a war declared on that thing? Terrorism, Hunger, Poverty, and famously drugs. The so-called war on drugs is the greatest crock of shit in history (Reganomics is a close 2nd) and here’s a few statistics to show why so called “illegal” drugs cause less problems to society then the safe and “legal” ones. Once again, it’s all mathematics…
Deaths related to Illicit Drugs in 2006 - 17,000
Alcohol Related Deaths in 2006 - 85,000
Tobacco Related Deaths in 2006 - 435,000
Now if you read the statistics you see that the amount of deaths in 2006 caused by Alcohol and Tobacco make the number of deaths Related to illicit drug use look puny in comparison. But, then why if alcohol and tobacco kill so many people a year why is there such a war on the illicit drugs people use? The answer, as if it was that hard to figure out, is money…
Tobacco and Alcohol is the bread and butter of The American economy (other then oil and real estate abroad). Why attack companies the fuel the economy and keeps it’s investors pockets fat. Remeber, Columbus discovered America and Native Americans, and to give thanks for receiving Tobacco and Corn, He brought to the new world STD’s and other diseases…I say that’s about an even trade.
The war on drugs is just a front for our government to make more money and to keep the people who they are supposed to serve blind to the real goings on. It isn’t hard to see that the leaders of our nation are bedfellows with every drug cartel in South America. The American government already makes enough money and kills enough people with legal drugs (insert Pfizer ad). Here are some more statistics about illicit drug use in America to show you how wrong our government is again…
Use of Specific Illicit Drugs among Persons Aged 12 or Older: 2006

And I know how painful the evil that is addiction is and how it can destroy people and families but I’m just here to say that these illicit drugs shouldn’t be the only things under investigation.
Oh, and by the way the number of Marijuana related deaths in 2006? 0
Before you judge open your eyes and see who is really doing dirt…

The ‘reason’ for that is to convince the sleeping public that there is a serious problem, and then to ‘justify’ the step-wise destruction of US citizens’ civil and legal rights.
The gold fringe on the US flag indicates that it is a military flag and that the country is under Martial Law, the Constitution has been suspended, and citizens have no ‘rights’, although most people have no knowledge of that.
These undeclared “Wars” are the military excuse that keeps the US in a constant state of war, and legitimizes the current state of Martial Law, and suspension of the Constitution; referred to by Alberto Gonzales while Attorney General as “that old piece of paper”; that very piece of paper he swore to protect and uphold in his Oath of Office!
> The so-called war on drugs is the greatest crock of shit in history …
But, a very profitable one, indeed!
How many people in the world know that marijuana is illegal in the US today due to a conspiracy between:
1> Harry Anslinger (the drug czar of the day
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Anslinger),
2> duPont (of Dupont Chemical Company
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DuPont
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DuPont#Hemp), and
3> William Randolph Hearst, the newspaper tycoon
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Randolph_Hearst)
who published many of the stories that Anslinger fabricated, in his yellow journalism newspapers, thus aiding the anti-marijuana movement that eventually led to its prohibition in the 1937 Marihuana Tax Act. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marihuana_Tax_Act)
Detailed history of this conspiracy is given in:
The Emperor Wears No Clothes: The Authoritative Historical Record of Cannabis and the Conspiracy Against Marijuana by Jack Herer. (http://tinyurl.com/2mumcy)
So, why this major conspiracy against a harmless plant?
The same reason that explains all the government’s seemingly senseless acts: MONEY!
Hemp was a major commercial product that made possible the Europeans’ invasion, conquering, economic rape, and slavery necessary to dominate the “New World”, as it made possible and supported the existence of the sailing ships that facilitated that invasion, occupation, and colonization.
Hemp was used for the ships’ sails, rigging, clothing, paper, twine, oil, etc, or else the sailing ships never could have existed, at least until cotton was developed and commercialized on a huge scale, some 300 years after hemp ruled the seas.
So, as hemp threatened Hearst’s economic interests in pine forests he owned to produce paper pulp, and hemp threatened duPont’s economic interests in petroleum feedstock for chemical production, it was demonized by Hearst widely publishing Anslinger’s false stories in his yellow rags, andAnslinger’s then taking these false newspaper clippings to Congress to “prove” that marijuana was destroying US society.
Conveniently, a film full of lies, Reefer Madness, was released in 1936, one year before the Tax Act, just in time to be further manipulated into an anti-marijuana propaganda film.

> The war on drugs is just a front for our government to make more money and to keep the people who they are supposed to serve blind to the real goings on.
In addition, it creates millions of “criminals” that have clogged the penal system to the point that real criminals are released on to the streets just to make room for the dopers.
It also created the illusion that there is a “drug problem” in the US that further ‘justifies’ the ongoing erosion of our liberties.
All the while, the medical system is the Number One Killer in the US!
