It seems as though Matik and I have differing opinions when it comes to this new single that’s been released by Saigon and the Megatron Don, Mr. Justin Blaze. While we both agree that its a bangin record, I’m not sure if its a viable single given the current hip hop soundscape. Matik believes otherwise and that this record has the potential to change the direction of hip hop music for the better. I’m interested to hear what do you guys think? Leave a comment and speaketh your mind.
Video Review Coming Soon

You know what, normally I would say not to make this a single, but I would. Maybe not a first single, but a single, video..etc. I have not heard it in a club yet around my way, but I can definitely hear it and people go crazy. The track overall dope. I agree with Matik that it could make some changes. And what great way to do that by giving it’s proper rotation. Not everybody is going to feel this track, but alot of people already do. It just needs to be out there. People we’ll catch on.
I sincerely hope that you’re right kidd. But two things are gonna have to happen for this single to blow up. 1) Ridiculous payola just to get it in rotation. 2) a crazy, ill ass street video to keep it there. If that happens I think this record has a chance. But I’m still not sold. I just think its a bit overproduced to be an official single. Woulda been a great street single tho.
This song is needed to break the current mold of wackness out there currently in rotation, someone had to do it and who better than just blaze and saigon. Its a start in the right direction, its not a matter of whether it will blow up and automatically change wats playin in the airwaves now, but its a start because i dont see anyone else makin the effort like these guys are. The video has to be just as dope if not iller than the the single just to give the audience a visual to coincide with the energy of this single. Its definitely single material and couldnt see them doing it any other way. They already have a buzz around them with the anticipation and drama that was surrounding the single already, they just need to keep the momentum up and make sure the video is on par with it.
dont like it at all. the guitar riffs and other bullshit are too much and really overpower the vocals. not to mention the “cmon baby” sample, which is wack as hell.
