The Death of Internet Radio

This is indeed a sad day in the free-form entertainment world. The music industry’s continually self-destructive tactics have reached another milestone as they have effectively killed internet radio. A drastic increase in royalty rates has forced most internet radio stations to close up shop. This new congressional ruling will have a wide spread effect on not only the commercial markets but also educational institutions in major cities like Baruch College who broadcast primarily over the net. This is just another desperate move by an industry trying unsuccessfully to hang on to its strangehold over free enterprise and creativity. When will these fools learn to stop alienating their own customers.

I hear that… sh!t is scary… it’s unfortunate that they are trying to find money anywhere they can get it, as if they don’t rip enough people off… props on the last post btw… it’s crazy seein’ Jay before he knew what was what..
